We were introduced to Tyler in march ‘21 via friends who’d just purchased their first home, so he came highly recommended. I’m writing this review in may ‘21 while enjoying the first weekend in our new home! As first-time homebuyers and folks who’d only been in the bay area for a couple of years, we didn’t know what we didn’t know when we started looking at properties. A northern California native, Tyler was highly knowledgeable about the SF real estate market. Tyler was straightforward, patient, and responsive. I’d email him with property links and questions, and he would get back within a couple of hours, even at night or over the weekends, with answers and viewing slots. Tyler helped us navigate the process by quickly assessing our requirements and narrowing our search. He spent the next few weeks taking us all over town to look at different properties. When we started looking at making our first offer, Tyler connected us with a reliable lending partner and helped us get over the initial block. The offer didn’t get accepted, but it was a great practice run. A few days later, we found two condos we loved that were accepting offers on the same day. Tyler set our expectations right after providing a comparable market report which helped us decide which one to go ahead with. Later that day, we found out that we got the place! This was our first home purchase and we had no idea regarding the process or what are things we should be looking for. Since we are not from us, we also had very limited knowledge regarding houses and neighborhoods. Tyler walked us through the entire process and took the time to understand what we were looking for in a house. Although he had a long drive from Marin to the east bay where we were looking he was always ready to accommodate us and arrange viewings over the weekends. We saw a good amount of houses and he specifically pointed out the positives and negatives in each of the houses we saw. He was very responsive regarding all of our queries and patiently answered all our questions. This property was our third offer and he was extremely knowledgeable and he helped us submit the best offer we could at that time including the price, contingencies, and other details. He was very transparent regarding the process and what was put in the offer. For this property, Tyler suggested a good offer price and closing time, and luckily our offer was accepted. I would highly recommend Tyler to anyone for any real estate requirements.
